The holidays this year seem to have come in a blink of an eye and now it’s time to start pulling out the decorations, stocking wood for the cold nights, and shopping for gifts for our loved ones.

Each year many of us enrich our homes with lights, candles, and various other decorations depending on which holidays you celebrate that help to bring the magic of the holidays to life in each of our homes.

And nothing is more magical than a cozy fireplace.

With the internet at our fingertips, we can virtually find how to build anything ourselves like even transforming cardboard boxes into a brand new fireplace.

Luckily for us, the internet exists and we get to share our tips and tricks of how we adapt our decorations with those all around the world.

One woman named Mary Córdova took to her Facebook to share her solution to making her home a little bit cozier with a DIY fireplace made from old cardboard boxes and some duct tape.

All this DIY fireplace takes to make is,

  • Duct tape or Packaging Tape
  • Cardboard Boxes
  • Adhesive tiles or Paint (depending on how you want your desired fireplace to look)

Mary’s home now has a cozy new fireplace put under her TV with care and a stocking ready to be filled.

All Mary’s cozy DIY project took was some cardboard boxes she saved, some duct tape and adhesive tiles, and now her house has a brand new decorative fireplace ready for the holidays.

She decided to set her new fireplace underneath her TV hung with a stocking, a family photo, and some other holiday decor and we must say it looks just like a real one!

This user also mentioned getting a little help from her three furry friends who love cardboard boxes.

Users all over the web are showing just how they’ve adapted their cardboardbox fireplaces to fit their unique homes.

Another user took to Instagram to show off their DIY fireplace, this time decorating theirs with candles, pine cones, and stockings. A lovely bohemian theme for this DIY fireplace!

With a little creativity and the holiday spirit, even a cardboard box can be turned into something magical!

There are so many different and unique ways to create your own fake cozy fireplace for this season’s upcoming holidays. Now, instead of burning those boxes on the fire, they can be turned into the whole fireplace itself with some duct tape and a little creativity!
