When Nature Calls

Recently in Douglas County, Colorado, A stunning gallery of adorable wildlife was caught on video. The footage was taken on September 19th in the HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area located directly south of the city of Denver. It shows three exuberant bears having the time of their lives in one of the area’s main water resources. Their child-like innocence and playfulness is enough to splash their way into your heart!

According to their Facebook page, HRCA mentions a major increase in the number of wildlife animals that have been frolicking around the gorgeous landscape.

“It is not just the bears enjoying our 26 water resources. It’s the birds, squirrels, raccoons, porcupines, hawks, falcons, eagles, even mice using our tanks for water.”

We’ll show you the best images collected so that you can immerse yourself properly in this laugh out loud nature experience. If you weren’t convinced to go out and explore nature before, wait until you get to know some of her funniest characters.

Bearly Single

This is just a precursor to the wild things that will ensue. Here’s papa bear making sure the area is clear of any pests so that he can enjoy his time to relax. His adorable ears perk up as he notices the camera looking in his direction.

He clearly is just looking to bask under the sun in peace while soaking in some refreshing water. And why shouldn’t he? He’s worked all day fishing for nature’s spoils, so I guess a bear can catch a little break right? Right?

Beary Funny

Wrong! Here comes the lovable family to “spoil” the male’s quiet escape. He was clearly mistaken if he thought he would get away on his very own vacation retreat.

I mean, is he complaining? That smile on his face doesn’t seem to look like it at all! Marriage requires commitment and sacrifice, but also a little bit of forgiveness, depending on the situation. The male is happy to have his wife and child there to enjoy a warm day out in the water. How can this wholesome moment be made any sweeter?

Will You Beary Me?

Education starts at a young age, and being a bear doesn’t mean there’s an exception to the rule. Here we see the first inklings of how to properly propose when a bear likes honey (pun intended).

Papa bear instructs his son on how to always ask for her paw gently and reminds his son to always kneel on your knee at the precise moment. It seems this kiddo is well on his way to understanding how to be a real gentle-bear!

Bear-ing It All

Well, this is a bit awkward. This bear is displaying an extraordinary show of balance all while simultaneously grossing out her partner due to the nature of her posture. We’ll skip any vile imagery and just pretend she’s ready to dive like the eloquent swan-bear she is.

Update: it was indeed a massive belly-flop that echoed through the nearby trees and disturbed the wind along the way.

Straw-bear-y or Blue-bear-y?

An age-old argument that is now being resolved by the great bear-losophers of our time. This seems to be the topic of conversation between the family and it looks like mama bear is pleading her case.

According to her hand gestures, it seems like they’re both on a balance scale because it in fact depends on the individual bear. It looks like this bear is unlocking the concept of individualism while also shattering her kin’s minds!

If this is what it looks like during the afternoon, we can’t imagine what kind of dinner conversation this trio is having.

Bear With Me For A Second

A secret that only a mother could tell her child. We could only speculate what age-old wisdom is being passed down to her son in this tender moment. Whatever it may be, we’re sure she is bringing him up to be a phenomenal bear.

The Bear Flair

A day in paradise isn’t complete without a little bit of flair! The young one needs to release his energy somehow and what better way than to playfully joust with his mom. Papa bear sits back as he is surely looking at the two with a huge grin on his furry face. This is what family bonding looks like right here!

Bear Necessities

It was a much-needed break from the usual hustle and bustle of surviving in the wild. The three bears look relaxed and refreshed to go back out and continue the grind. Papa bear’s face says it all: he’s so delighted to have spent this time and will look forward to the next time he gets to enjoy such a splendid occasion.

Care Bears Share

And just like that, the three bears begin to climb out of the water tank, starting with the momma bear. The poor cub looks to be sad as he knows he’ll have to say goodbye soon.
