Children are the best comedians. I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time.

Just like adults, many kids turn to God when they have questions or need some love and guidance. But as we know, kids can be pretty darn hilarious too.

On a segment of the Steve Harvey show, he decided to read aloud some letters that children had written to God. What these little munchkins had to say left the entire room rolling with laughter.

Mark had an important question for God.

Some kids have a hard time grasping that you can’t actually “see” God. Well, why not? One young boy named Mark wanted to get to the bottom of it.

He wrote:

“Dear God, Are you really invisible or just hiding because you don’t like your clothes? – Mark”

Good question Mark, let us know the answer when you find out. Don’t you love his drawing?

Mike was looking to make a trade.

When children are little they often have unique interpretations of God and what He’s capable of doing. For Mike, he imagined God to be more like a genie.

“To God, If you grant me 3 wishes I will give you anything you want except my chess set or my money $ – your friend Mike”

Apparently, not everything was on the table for Mike.

Jessie was looking out for her future.

Even kids know that it’s a big world out there. Apparently, Jessie needed some help to get prepared for it. So, she turned to God with one huge request.

When Steve read her letter to the audience, he couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

“Dear God, Please make me pretty b/cuz I dont think I’m very smart. Love, Jessie”

Poor Jessie! Hang in there, kid.

Danny was just being honest.

We all know about God and his great love for humankind – and apparently, Danny does too. On the other hand, he wasn’t quite feeling the same way…

His message said:

“Dear God, I bet its hard to love everyone in the whole world b/c I can’t even love my little sister. – Danny”

Hopefully, Danny received a tip or two in response. Ah, siblings.

Sally was on God’s side.

Kids’ minds can do great things. Sometimes, they can even look at the big picture better than we can. For Sally, she wanted to give God props for something she felt He was responsible for.

Steve couldn’t help but chuckle at Sally’s note.

“Dear God, If dinosaurs were not extinct we’d all be eaten and dead, so you did the right thing. – From Sally”

Good point, Sally. I’m happy to stick to museums too.

Sue needed answers.

While there are a million and one things that kids are curious about – the differences between boys and girls is usually nearer to the top.

For Sue, however, she already knew about the biggest “difference” because of having a brother. That stirred up a major question for God.

In a letter, she wrote:

“Hi God, How come my brother has a weiner and I don’t? Did you run out of them? Sue”

If God’s too busy laughing at that one, Sue’s parents might have to sit their daughter down for a little chat.
