Imagine not knowing what a trampoline was. In your world, they just didn’t exist. You weren’t aware of the concept, you have never seen one, and you have most certainly never been on one and felt its bounce. Imagine that.
Now imagine being in that situation and then, one day, discovering a trampoline all on your own. What exactly would you think of it? You would probably think it’s a very strange device and then you would probably discover that it is very bouncy. It would probably feel bizarre to you!
This dad named Martin Greenhalgh who is from Wales but lived at Colorado at the time — a few years back — was suddenly caught off guard when he stumbled upon two wild foxes who had stumbled upon his trampoline.
Apparently these were wild foxes that had lived in his backyard one summer, but he never saw them come back after this hilarious incident.
The man was initially woken up by an alarm on his CCTV system so he got up and found four foxes having the time of their lives on his trampoline. Obviously, he had to record what was happening as stuff like this doesn’t just happen every day.
The foxes seemed to be delighted after discovering the strange bouncy device. They walked around on it, sniffed it, and then yes — jumped all over it. They seemed to be blown away by the concept of the trampoline.
They had no idea what they were doing but they were still managing to have a wildly fun party.
“I looked at the camera and it was just amazing to see them there in the middle of the night,” Greenhalgh shared with Metro News.
As mentioned before, these foxes had been living in his backyard for some time. However, he had never seen anything quite like this take place. They never went near his trampoline up until then.
Another funny part about the video is that the foxes seem like sometimes they are too light to even bounce on the trampoline properly. So cute!
We normally don’t think of foxes as particularly playful creatures, but this clip just throws any thoughts like that out the window. It is clear that these foxes couldn’t be happier and it is all thanks to the bouncy device.
We guess foxes are just like kids! At least these are.
The video is so funny that it went viral, achieving over 34 million views online and 287k+ likes.
It makes sense why the video went viral — it is so interesting to watch. You can tell that the animals are so fascinated by the trampoline. At first, they walk around on it and sniff, like, “Yo, something is up.” But then as soon as they discover its bouncy qualities, they can’t stop dancing around on it.
The trampoline must have made their day! That’s what it looks like, at least. And this video made our day, too!
