"Just f***ing give me my money for my wedding. I won't even sugarcoat. I won't pretend that's not what I wanted. It was for a dream."

Wedding season is just around the corner! You have probably been invited to a special wedding this summer, or maybe you are even planning one of your own. Whatever the case may be, weddings are on most of our minds.

There is so much excitement to be had during wedding season! For most new couples, the wedding is the happiest day of their lives. However, there are also plenty of tragedies that occur during this intense season.

Weddings are played up on movies, in television shows, and all over magazines. They are a BIG DEAL! While weddings are always a big deal for a new couple, they can be immensely stressful. Some spouses get caught up in the idea of making their wedding absolutely perfect, and it gets ruined along the way. So, while we are all thinking of weddings, now is a good time to share a story that will make you think twice about how much your dream day is actually worth.

One bride took it way too far when she over-stretched her budget for her big day. Most couples save up for the wedding they want, but this woman knew that such a grueling feat wouldn’t be possible. The bride-to-be planned a wedding for $60,000 – and she and her future husband only had $15,000 between them!

This woman, who was identified by an anonymous cousin as “Susan”, asked each of her wedding guests to pay $1500 to help cover the costs of the extravagant wedding. When people weren’t willing to pay that much to be at a wedding FOR A FEW HOURS, she completely flipped out. She posted a heinous message to her friends, which her cousin posted onto Facebook. The post soon went viral, reaching thousands of viewers on Facebook and Reddit.

“It comes with great sadness that I am announcing the cancellation of the **** wedding,” Susan shared. Elegant announcement, indeed. “I apologize for canceling only 4 days beforehand.”

Yes, this woman waited until FOUR DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING because she thought she could convince her family and friends to pay hundreds of dollars for HER wedding! She blamed them for “ruin[ing] my marriage and life.”

Susan explained that she had met her fiancĂ© at the age of 14 while they were working on her family’s farm. The two attended community college together before deciding to get married. Naturally, they went to a psychic for advice on the venue. When the psychic suggested they reserve the most expensive one, they decided to go for it! The only problem was that they had nowhere near enough money for the event.

“We managed to save up nearly $15,000 for a wedding,” Susan stated. “Since our love was like a fairy tale, we wanted an extravagant blow out wedding, one where our son could be included.”

“Our dream wedding amounts to $60K – all included with flights to Aruba. All we asked was for a little help from our friends and family to make it happen.”

Okay, the sob story is over. This is where the bridezilla’s tirade comes out in full force. Grab your popcorn!

“How could we have OUR wedding that WE dreamed of without proper funding? We’d sacrificed so much and only asked each guest for around $1,500.”

Yes, such a small amount! Don’t you have that laying around at home? Doesn’t everybody??

Susan explained that when only 8 people RSVP’d “We were f***ing livid. . . Desperately, we resent our invites and asked people to donate what they could. I mean seriously people, what is $1,000? What is $1500? Clearly, not a lot.”

Here’s a question: if the money is “not a lot” why didn’t you raise it yourself?

“We also set up a go fund me. That only got us $250. At this point we were exhausted, tired.” Because clicking a few buttons online is EXHAUSTING work!

Susan then bashed her Maid of Honor, who had previously promised to give the greedy bride $5,000 but later decided to back out.

“How could someone who offered me THOUSANDS OF F***ING DOLLARS deny me MY promised money and then tell me to shift down my budget???? She KNOWS my f***ing DREAM was a blowout wedding. I just wanted to be a Kardashian for a day and then live my life like normal. I called her a filthy f***ing poor excuse for a friend, and hung up.”

Well, at least there is a little good news. In addition to the groom getting away from this crazy chick, the best friend escaped the insanity as well. There is hope for everyone in this story – except the former bride.

“How hard would it have been to f***ing donate friends? Do I matter to you? Just f***ing give me my money for my wedding. I won’t even sugarcoat. I won’t pretend that’s not what I wanted. It was for a dream.”

Oh yeah, she DID just say that! This girl takes “ungrateful” to a whole new level. I just hope she takes a step back and rethinks her life before she pushes anyone else away.
