He knows that Brigas is an asset to his business. Who wouldn’t treasure such a dedicated employee?

“His family was very close to our hearts and the fact that he gave us so many loyal years of service, he’d come to work sick, he never came in late, he is just one of those guys that had so much pride in what he did,” he continued, proud of his beloved employee.

Last September, Brigas told Quinones that he plans to retire in February, he said that he just needs to pay off the remaining balance for the house he’s lived in for the past 24 years.

“I told him, ‘How would you like to retire early?'” Rudy Quinones recalls.

He said that Albert didn’t quite understand what he meant so he simply said ‘Give me a payoff amount on your home.'”

After a few days, Rudy Quinones met his employee Alber Brigas at his bank where they paid off the remaining balance for Brigas’ home.
