They certainly show the meaning of teamwork.

There’s no need to hire cranes, trucks, and other forms of heavy equipment if you’re a member of the Amish community.

These guys literally define teamwork, putting those championship winning sports teams to shame with this amazing feat. A shed needed transporting so they rolled their sleeves up and lifted.

Do they go to the gym?

It’s no ordinary shed either. We’re talking about a huge one. You can see just how many men there are inside lifting and moving together as one to move the entire structure.

A very impressive feat.

It looks like every single male member of the community is in there helping move the massive shed.

The Amish really are conservative. They emphasize humility, family, community and separation from the non-Amish world. That includes a reluctance to adopt modern conveniences such as electricity.

There are some breakaway groups who form their own community, with some adopting cellphones, cars, and certain luxury features for their homes. But in general, they go for simplicity.

Simple means strong by the looks of it.

They basically follow the bible, taking the teachings of simplicity and humility by heart, shunning the world’s many pleasures for a life that’s fascinated all of us.

Because really, we’d rather hire a big truck and a crane to move a shed.

They all stand and lift together, and once they hear directions they move to the left and march like a colony muscling the shed all the way up the hill.

Naturally, the comments are full of stunned viewers.

“Cooperation and teamwork to the extreme. Wonderful what happens when we all work together. Amazing how inspirational this video is and how that makes me feel like it shouldn’t be so unusual that it engenders such amazement. Wow.” says Ed Hettman.

While Jon Nemeth said, “The most incredible thing I’ve ever seen I know that Amish can build a barn in less than a couple hours but move one like that I guess living in God’s way things are possible God bless every one of those Amish members.”

They lift, alright. They lift the Lord’s name on high.

Now the Amish can be very private so for them to allow others to film this move is a treat.

It has been said that they are slowly opening up to the outside world, depending on the source. Still, this is what happens when cellphones aren’t important and hard labor is emphasized.

The Amish don’t skip leg day that’s for sure!

You could argue that they could have just constructed the shed on the top of that hill. But who knows why they built it at the bottom. Maybe to garner views and likes.

These men and women are some of the most patient, most understanding mild-mannered folks out there. It’s that obedience to the teachings and harmony with each other that set them apart.

Think of that shed as the weight of the world. Look how they dealt with it.
