Summer is here, which means your next vacation is right around the corner. There are plenty of great places to explore, but nothing says summer like the beach. The cutest guesthouse ever is located in Venice, California, and it is available through Airbnb.
This fascinating city is home to a beautiful boardwalk and tons of attractions. Experience the vacation of a lifetime from a home you’ll be stoked to come back to each evening. This little guesthouse has it all.
The guesthouse is built in the back yard of the main house. It is 400 square feet, and it has been nicknamed “The Mini Me” because it is a miniature version of the craftsman-style home.
This mini home has its own brick patio, so you can spend your summer nights outside. The studio has everything you might need, including a living room, kitchen, and bedroom. It is beautifully designed to maximize space. You might be staying in a studio, but you will feel like you are in a full-sized home.
The entire floor is checkered black and white, putting a sleek modern edge on the whole home. Black and white dominates the entire space, as it is full of black finishings, and white walls and ceilings. Bursts of color create a sense of liveliness.
The living room area is defined by the vintage prison bed that is mounted to the wall. Decorative throw pillows have transformed this unique space into a cool couch. A glass coffee table and some extra chairs give the space a cozy vibe.
The dining area, located between the living room and kitchen, consists of a butcher-block table and stools. This is the perfect spot to eat. You can enjoy the view out the sliding glass door that faces the table.
The kitchen features butcher block cabinets and white cabinets. The light colors make the space feel open and airy, while elevated windows provide plenty of natural light. The counters have plenty of space, and if you need even more room you can use the table to cut or store preparations. The kitchen even comes with its own microwave.
The bedroom looks SO comfortable. Vaulted ceilings and breezy curtains dominate the space. Green vines have grown in from outside, and they climb the walls behind the bed. You’ll sleep great breathing in the fresh oxygen, and you may even feel a little more connected with nature.
The windows surrounding the room assure that it gets plenty of natural light. Leave your curtains open to wake up with the sun, or shut them to snooze longer.
The bathroom is by far the most unique part of the house. The toilet is indoors, and so is the vanity area, which is surrounded by windows. White curtains add an elegant touch to the room.
The remainder of the bathroom is outdoors. An enclosed shower is surrounded by trumpet vines and creeping fig. You will definitely find yourself appreciating nature a little more; it will be kind of like you are showering in a waterfall.
This is one unique getaway destination, and it is in the perfect location to celebrate the season. Make SoCal your next destination and have a blast by the beach.
