14. Hiking Attire
I mean hiking in your jorts can’t be too uncomfortable if you have gold bold. I for one would opt out for something more comfortable. At least this guy looks fashionable doing it.

26. Saxy Shorts
What a better way to kick back in your short-shorts than with your favorite instrument. This guy’s cut-offs are exceptionally long though for the 70s. I wonder how good he sounds.
27. That’s a lot of short-shorts in one place
I’m not really sure what’s going on in this photo, but I don’t really want to know. That’s a lot of tiny shorts with an unsavory view. I mean, wear it with pride though!
28. A 1979 Camaro and Some Jean Shorts
This Redditors father took an iconic picture when showing off his Camaro back in the day. I think he actually looks quite patriotic. Nothing says America like jorts, cars, and beer.
29. Dad, I think you need longer shorts
If this was my dad, I’d be laughing at this photo for sure. His whole get-up just screams the 70s, he’s not even wearing shoes. I hope whoever’s dad it is; I hope he’s wearing longer shorts now.
30. The hair must go with it
If you’re going to pull off the short-shorts look, you’re going to need the hair to come with it. This is definitely a good example. I’d be proud to have a dad who was stunting this look back in the day.
31. When riding with dad, pants are optional

38. Karaoke and Booty Shorts
This is a picture of a dad in the 70s singing some karaoke in the famous short-short look. I bet you wouldn’t get as hot and could pull off a lot more dance moves if you wore these bad boys out now. Life was definitely simpler back in that time.
39. Perfect Exercise Wear
Who wouldn’t want to do their workout in some corduroy short-shorts? I don’t think he would’ve been able to do that if they were pants. If all your exercise clothes are dirty, you might as well go with the short-shorts.

43. A dog, a man, his car, and short-shorts
I mean, this super old jeep is super cool. Although this guy’s shorts might be a little too short. The dog takes away from the basically nude man.
44. That can’t be comfortable
Back in the 70s, it was a normal trend to be sporting plastic shorts. They might make a lot of noise when you walk, but they are shiny. I don’t think I’d like wearing these personally, but hey it’s for fashion!

Nothing screams the 70s like a large doobie and the shortest of jorts. This is quite the aesthetic. Wouldn’t be mad if this is brought back.

50. No, they aren’t stranded
They kind of do look like they’ve just washed up on shore, but that was the style back then. I mean, the stranded desert island look must be really easy to do in the morning. Just a normal day in the 70s.
